So the Oscars are on tonight.
To be honest I haven’t seen many movies this year. On the long list of nominees I’ve seen:
- Tree of Life
- Bridesmaids
- Drive
- Rise of the Planet of the Apes
And Midnight in Paris.
That means I haven’t seen The Muppets or the last Harry Potter – hey, I’ve been busy!
That’s usually the way it is for me. I don’t get to the theater often but instead watch movies at home.
But back to the Oscars and today’s story starter. Midnight in Paris is the best on the list of Oscar nominees that I’ve actually viewed. It’s a fun story about a couple that are in Paris. Gil and his fiancee Inez are beginning to realize how different they are. Gil is out one night, at midnight, and gets into a coach that takes him back in time.
So that’s the idea for today’s story starter.
Your heroine is on a trip and something happens that allows her to go back in time. What happens and where does she go? Does she meet anyone special? What happens when she’s there?
