Time: 30 to 60 minutes
We all have a favorite time period that we’re drawn to. Maybe we have fond memories of the sixties, seventies or even the eighties. Or maybe you would love to be able to zip back to the Renaissance, ancient Egypt or the Civil War.
Take a scene from a WIP, work in progress, and write it during a different time period. Do research about the time period or just use your imagination. Don’t forget about the language, mannerisms, etiquette, and even the technology of the time. Will your characters resolve or react differently if they’re in a different time period?
