In honor of this wonderful and romantic holiday I’ve chosen my top ten favorite romance novels of all time:
Outlander – Diana Gabaldon – I read this 896 page book on my iPod, yes my tiny little iPod in about three days. Cried my eyes out. If you haven’t read Outlander, I beseech you to grab a copy and enjoy.
Gone with The Wind – Margaret Mitchell. Presumably most of you have at least seen the movie. As always, the book is better!
Dream Man by Linda Howard often tops the lists, however while it was a great book, I prefer Mr Perfect It’s not only a great romance, it’s funny and pretty steamy too.
I recently had the pleasure to review two Lisa Kleypas novels – Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor and Smooth Talking Stranger for Romantic Times Book Reviews. Both were outstanding! However, when it comes to top ten lists, Dreaming of You almost always makes the list.
Finally, if you haven’t read Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier check it out. It’s for romance readers who like a bit of mystery with their amore.
There you have it – Some old, some new, some borrowed, some true – Enjoy and have a very Happy Valentine’s day.
What about you? What tops your list of favorite romance novels?

Have you read Ilona Andrews? She writes paranormal/urban fantasy. I know a lot of paranormal readers who are huge fans of hers. Actually, my editor at Romantic Times recommended her after I raved about another urban fantasy I read.
