There’s just something truly attractive about a funny man. Jon Stewart is one of my favorite funny men and yes, I think he’s absolutely divine!
My hubby is pretty darn funny too. It’s one of the reasons I was attracted to him.
And when it comes to reading, well there’s just nothing better than literally laughing out loud at something a character said or did. That’s a great feeling.
As a writer, it’s important to humanize your characters and even the toughest and most depressed characters still have a sense of humor. Personally, I think writing humor is difficult – it’s one of the reasons I have such admiration for comedians and comedy writers. They’re brilliant, so very intelligent.
